Ribet Red Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot - Arrogant Frog

Ribet Red from Arrogant Frog is a wonderfully smooth French red wine cuvée made from Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) and Merlot (40%). 

This wine already impresses in the glass with its deep ruby red color. The elegant and complex bouquet is reminiscent of black fruits such as blackcurrants, blueberries, cherries, and plums, complemented by spicy notes of vanilla and licorice. On the palate, this French red wine presents itself as beautifully balanced, with soft, well-integrated tannins and a long finish that brings warm plum nuances.

Vinification of Arrogant Frog Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

After harvesting the fully ripe grapes, they are first destemmed and crushed separately by variety, and the must is fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. After the must has been pressed, the two wines are blended. Subsequently, 25% of this cuvée is matured for four months in oak barrels and 75% in stainless steel tanks. After barrel aging, Arrogant Frog Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is refined for a further two months in vats before this red wine is bottled.
