More information about Chablis - Chaude Ecuelle
The Chablis from the Burgundy wine-growing region presents itself in the glass in a brilliant golden yellow. The initial nose of the Chablis reveals nuances of green apple, lemon and ripe apple. More fruity-balsamic nuances join the fruity aspects of the bouquet.
On the palate, the Chablis from Chaude Ecuelle opens pleasantly dry, firm and aromatic. Balanced and multi-layered, this creamy and silky white wine presents itself on the palate. The finish of this white wine from the Burgundy wine-growing region, more precisely from Chablis & Grand Auxerrois, ultimately delights with a beautiful aftertaste. The aftertaste is also accompanied by mineral hints from the clay- and limestone-dominated soils.
Vinification of Chaude Ecuelle Chablis
This white wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Chardonnay. Only first-class harvested grapes were used for this wonderfully balanced varietal wine from Chaude Ecuelle. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Burgundy. Here, the vines sink their roots deep into soils of clay and limestone. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. This fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off.
