More information about Chablis - Domaine Daniel Séguinot

The Chablis from the Burgundy wine-growing region presents itself in the glass in a bright golden yellow. On the nose, this white wine from Domaine Daniel Séguinot reveals all kinds of acacia. As if that were not already impressive, further aromas such as minerals join in thanks to maturation in stainless steel.

On the palate, the Chablis from Domaine Daniel Séguinot starts off wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced white wine is wonderfully silky and creamy. The finish of this white wine from the Burgundy wine-growing region, more precisely from Chablis & Grand Auxerrois, ultimately delights with a lovely aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the limestone- and clay-dominated soils.

Vinification of Domaine Daniel Séguinot Chablis

This balanced white wine from France is made from the Chardonnay grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Burgundy. Here, the vines sink their roots deep into clay and limestone soils. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation ends, the Chablis is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for several months.

Food recommendation for the Chablis from Domaine Daniel Séguinot

Enjoy this white wine from France well chilled at 8–10°C as an accompanying wine with spinach gratin with almonds, fried trout with ginger and pear, or vegetable salad with beetroot.
