Chardonnay - Black Stallion Estate

Black Stallion Estate's Chardonnay from the North American wine-growing region of California is an incredibly creamy, varietally pure and excellent white wine. 

In the glass, this wine shimmers a brilliant golden yellow with golden highlights. This California white wine reveals a wonderful bouquet with notes of sun-ripened citrus and green apples. The palate reveals fine melting flavors of apples, citrus and clear mineral hints of flint. The creamy texture and full-bodied texture are underpinned with nuances of buttery brioche and hazelnuts. A delicately articulated acidity rounds out this white wine harmoniously.

Vinification of the Black Stallion Chardonnay 

This single varietal Chardonnay is a very carefully vinified wine from grapes grown in various Napa Valley areas. The result is rich and complex. This white wine was fermented in French barriques and ages for another 10 months on the fine lees in the barriques.
