More information about Chardonnay 1,0 l - Cheval d'Or
The Chardonnay from the wine-growing region the Languedoc reveals itself in the glass in brilliantly shimmering golden yellow. Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from the Old World reveals wonderfully expressive aromas of quince, peach, apricot and nashi pear, rounded off by other fruity nuances.
This French wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with 6 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine in the upper price range, this French wine enchants with its fine balance despite its dryness. Taste does not necessarily require residual sugar. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by a tremendously creamy texture. The fruit acidity of the Chardonnay is strikingly rounded and makes this wine wonderfully smooth. The final of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of the Languedoc finally captivates with good reverberation.
Vinification of Cheval d'Or Chardonnay
The basis for the elegant Chardonnay from France are grapes from the Chardonnay grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled. Once the wine is finished, the Chardonnay is carefully dealcoholized.
