The Bousquet family is a native of the South of France - the city of Carcassonne - and can proudly look back on a 4 generations long history in winemaking. With a lot of passion, wines of the highest quality are vinified day after day. And it is also precisely this passion for wine that has led the Jean Bousquet to Argentina.

It began with a vacation

1990 - it only took one vacation in Argentina to fall in love with the country, the people and the wine. And it was exactly the third generation - Jean Bousquet - who fell head over heels in love. The winemaking love fell on the Gualtallary Valley. Picturesque, lonely and located high up in the Tupungato district of the Uco Valley in Argentina's Mendoza region. This is where Jean Bousquet wanted to stay and vinify organic wines. And he stayed..

Helping hands from the family

Daughter Anne Bousquet and her husband Labid Al Ameri traveled to Argentina in 2002 and couldn't resist the charm and the idea of sustainability of the winery site. They began investing in Domaine Bousquet. in 2005, Labid Al Amer i assisted his father-in-law with construction - and in 2008, his daughter also joined the winemaking business. Both took full responsibility for Domaine Bousquet full-time in 2011.

Organic cultivation

Currently, Domaine Bousquet is among the top 20 Argentine wineries in exports and is a leader in the organic wine segment.
