More information about Reserve Chardonnay Tupungato Bio - Domaine Bousquet

The powerful Chardonnay Tupungato Reserve from Domaine Bousquet shines in the glass with a dense golden yellow. This wine also shows greenish yellow reflections in the center. Ideally poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from the New World reveals wonderfully expressive aromas of lemon, star fruit, Gallia melon and perfumed rose, rounded off by further fruity nuances contributed by aging in wooden barrels.

This Argentine wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with only 1.7 grams of residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Argentine naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Aroma does not necessarily require sugar. On the palate, the texture of this powerful white wine is wonderfully light and silky. With its lively fruit acidity, the Chardonnay Tupungato Reserve reveals itself exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this storable white wine from the wine-growing region of Mendoza finally inspires with good length. Hints of violets and lemon appear again.

Vinification of the Domaine Bousquet Chardonnay Tupungato Reserve

This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Chardonnay. Only the best grapes were harvested for this exceptionally powerful varietal wine from Domaine Bousquet. In Mendoza, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sedimentary and weathered rock. Clearly, the Chardonnay Tupungato Reserve is also determined by the climatic and stylistic factors of Tupungato. This Argentine can literally be described as a New World wine that is extraordinarily impressive. At the time of optimal ripeness, the grapes for Chardonnay Tupungato Reserve are harvested exclusively by hand, without the help of coarse and less selective full harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in large wood at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by 10 months of aging in French oak barrels.

Food pairing for Domaine Bousquet Chardonnay Tupungato Reserve

This Argentinean is best enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to Japanese-style fillet of turbot with vegetable julienne, Thai cucumber salad or asparagus salad with quinoa.
