In the heart of the Barolo area
in 1761 Bartolomeo Borgogno founded what is now probably the most famous winery in Piedmont. In 1967 it was given its current name, Giacomo Borgogno & Figli. Over the years, the Borgogno winery managed to make a name for itself in the wine world with its Barolos - and continues to do so today.
in 2008, the Farinetti family acquired the winery. One of their greatest credos is to strictly adhere to tradition, thus continuing the legacy of Bartolomeo Borgogno to this day.
