The Isabella Chardonnay by Muratie Estate sparkles in the glass in a bright yellow and enchants with its bouquet, which superficially reveals the aromas of tropical fruits. Caramelized pineapple, hazelnuts and citrus flatter the nose.
This Chardonnay from South Africa is multi-layered on the palate and impresses with the hints of jam, ripe, tropical fruits and lemon cake. These aromas are accompanied by vanilla and creaminess. This perfectly balanced white wine goes into an almost endless finale and has a ripening potential of up to 5 years from now.
Vinification for Isabella Chardonnay by Muratie Estate
The grapes for this pure Chardonnay were harvested by hand in the Stellenbosch region. After harvesting, they were pressed and subjected to natural fermentation in 500 liters of barrels. This was followed by malolactic fermentation and the wine was aged in the wood for 10 months. Before bottling, the wine was stabilized.
