Vinification of the L'Ormarins Brut Classique Rosé from Anthonij Rupert Wyne
The well-balanced L'Ormarins Brut Classique Rosé from South Africa is a cuvée vinified from the grape varieties Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. In the Western Cape, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on granite soils. After the grape harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
