More information about Les Tourelles de Longueville Pauillac AOP - Château Pichon Longueville-Baron

With Château Pichon Longueville-Baron Les Tourelles de Longueville Pauillac, a first-class red wine finds its way into the glass. It presents a wonderfully bright, ruby-red color. When held at a slight angle, the Bordeaux glass reveals a charming garnet-red hue at the rim. If you give it some air in the glass by swirling, you can perceive an excellent balance in this red wine, as it does not appear watery, syrupy, or liqueur-like on the sides of the glass. This French cuvée reveals wonderfully expressive notes of raspberries, roses, and redcurrants in the glass. These are accompanied by hints of additional fruits.

On the palate, Les Tourelles de Longueville Pauillac from Château Pichon Longueville-Baron starts off delightfully dry, firm, and aromatic. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced red wine presents itself as wonderfully velvety. In the finish, this matured red wine from the Bordeaux winegrowing region impresses with considerable length. Once again, hints of rose and raspberry appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the gravel-dominated soils join in.
