More information about Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel Saint Estephe AOC - Chateau Le Boscq

With the Chateau Le Boscq Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel Saint Estephe, a first-class red wine flows into the swirling glass. It displays a wonderfully bright, ruby-red color. The first nose of the Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel Saint Estephe reveals nuances of sour cherries and blackberries. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by notes from barrel aging, along with additional fruity-balsamic nuances.

This French wine impresses with its straightforward, dry taste profile. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and, despite its dryness, this Frenchman delights with the finest balance. Aroma simply does not necessarily require a lot of sugar. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced red wine presents itself as wonderfully dense. The finish of this excellently age-worthy red wine from the Bordeaux wine region, more precisely from Saint-Estèphe, ultimately captivates with remarkable length. The aftertaste is also accompanied by mineral facets of the gravel- and sand-dominated soils.

Vinification of Chateau Le Boscq Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel Saint Estephe

This balanced red wine from France is made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. In Bordeaux, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on sandy and gravelly soils. After hand-picking, the grapes quickly reach the press house. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.

Food recommendation for Chateau Le Boscq Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel Saint Estephe

Enjoy this red wine from France ideally tempered at 15 - 18°C as an accompanying wine with pasta with fried sausage dumplings, vegetable stew with pesto or spaghetti with caper-tomato sauce.
