More information about Louis Rosé Provence AOP - Domaine Pouverel

In the glass, the Louis Rosé Provence from Domaine Pouverel reveals a bright ruby color. The first nose of Louis Rosé Provence shows notes of sour cherries, strawberries and raspberries. Herbs join the fruity hints of the bouquet.

On the palate, the Louis Rosé Provence from Domaine Pouverel opens wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic. Balanced and multifaceted, this light rosé wine presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this youthful rosé wine from the wine-growing region of Provence finally inspires with good length. There are again hints of sour cherry and raspberry. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by gravel and clay are added.

Vinification of the Domaine Pouverel Louis Rosé Provence

The basis for the balanced Louis Rosé Provence from Provence are grapes from the grape varieties Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Vermentino. In Provence, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay, limestone and gravel. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.

Food recommendation for Domaine Pouverel Louis Rosé Provence
