More information about Luminous Label Champagner - Dom Pérignon

The Moet Hennessy Champagne Brut presents itself in a bright, clear white with fine perlage that dances vividly when poured. Typical of the cuvée made from the grape varieties Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, it offers a complex play of aromas that immediately captivates every connoisseur. On the nose, it unfolds seductive notes of brioche, complemented by fresh grapefruit and delicate almonds. This diversity of aromas forms the basis for a tasting experience that is both refreshing and elegant and convinces with its clear structure. The flavor composition is clearly brut – that is, dry – and at the same time finely balanced. Here you gain an impression of the high-quality champagne craft from the renowned Champagne region in France.

The flavor highlights of the Moet Hennessy Champagne Brut can be summarized as follows:

  1. Brioche aromas: The aroma is reminiscent of freshly baked, fine-textured bread, which lends the wine a velvety depth.
  2. Fresh grapefruit: The citrus character brings vibrant freshness and a slight, pleasant bitterness.
  3. Delicate almonds: Almonds provide a gentle, nutty nuance that increases complexity and prolongs the finish.
  4. Sparkling mouthfeel: The fine, persistent effervescence supports the overall impression and ensures freshness with every sip.
  5. Dryness (Brut): The dry style makes the wine an ideal companion for a wide range of occasions without sacrificing elegance.

Vinification of Moet Hennessy Champagne Brut

The Moet Hennessy Champagne Brut comes from Champagne, one of the world’s most famous wine regions in France. The local soils and the temperate climate with cool nights offer optimal conditions for cultivating the grape varieties Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. At Moet Hennessy, the grapes are carefully selected and always harvested at the ideal degree of ripeness in order to guarantee a balanced aroma profile.

Vinification is carried out with the utmost care: first, the grapes are gently pressed to obtain only the best portions of the must for the base of the sparkling wine. The cuvée of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir is then fermented separately, using state-of-the-art cellar technology. After the first fermentation, the different components are blended in the right proportions to create the characteristic style of the Moet Hennessy Champagne Brut.

The second fermentation, which produces the fine perlage, takes place in the bottle in accordance with the traditional Champagne method. During the subsequent aging on the lees for at least 15 months, the sparkling wine develops its typical creaminess and complexity. Finally, disgorgement takes place, during which the lees are removed, and the dosage determines the precise brut character.

Food recommendations for Moet Hennessy Champagne Brut

This elegant Moet Hennessy Champagne Brut is excellently suited as an aperitif-style pleasure, but it unfolds its full potential in combination with fine dishes. The dry yet delicate structure harmonizes particularly well with dishes that likewise offer freshness and finesse. Try it with the following culinary highlights:

  • Fresh oysters or sushi – the vibrant acidity underscores the maritime freshness
  • Grilled fish such as salmon or sea bream with lemon butter
  • White poultry, for example guinea fowl or chicken with almond sauce
  • Light crème brûlée and other desserts with nutty notes to emphasize the almond aromas
  • Fresh salads with grapefruit dressing that pick up the fruity, citrus character

The Moet Hennessy Champagne Brut impresses with versatility and elegance, making it an ideal companion even for special occasions. It is not only a classic partner for festive meals, but thanks to its light and lively character also an all-rounder for moments of indulgence.
