More information about Pascaline Chardonnay Viognier - J. Plaisance
With the J. Plaisance Pascaline Chardonnay Viognier, a first-class white wine finds its way into the glass. It presents a wonderfully bright, golden-yellow color. This wine reveals wonderfully expressive notes of acacia, apricots and ripe apple in the glass. There are also hints of hazelnut and almond.
This wine delights with its elegantly dry taste profile. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine at the premium entry level, this French wine naturally enchants, despite all its dryness, with the finest balance. Flavor simply does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. The finish of this white wine from the Languedoc-Roussillon region ultimately captivates with a beautiful aftertaste.
Vinification of the J. Plaisance Pascaline Chardonnay Viognier
This well-balanced white wine from France is vinified from the grape varieties Chardonnay and Viognier. After hand-picking, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by several months of aging on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.
