Vinification of Peter Mertes Pilar Pinot Grigio
The balanced Pilar Pinot Grigio from Hungary is a varietal wine, vinified from the Pinot Grigio grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is matured for several months on the fine lees before finally being bottled.
