Quinta da Aveleda

The winery Quinta da Aveleda or simply "Aveleda" has been owned by the Guedes family for over 5 generations. Today, Aveleda is run by two 5th generation descendants, namely António Azevedo Guedes and Martim Guedes.

The Aveleda Philosophy

Since the foundation of Quinta da Aveleda in 1870, the passion for winemaking, for sustainable management of the environment, for biodiversity and attention to detail are still the guiding principles of Aveleda.

These fundamental principles are at the core of Aveleda's wine production and have naturally helped in the creation of famous brands such as Aveleda, Adega Velha, Quinta Vale D. Maria, Quinta D'Aguieira Follies and Casal Garcia.

Aveleda operates in 3 wine regions of Portugal, namely Douro, Vinho Verde and Bairrada. Aveleda is the largest producer and exporter of Vinho Verde in Portugal, exporting to more than 80 countries around the world.

in the vineyards of Aveleda. Together they form a magnificent cross-section of Portugal's diverse wine and grape variety landscape.
