Vinification of the Fonte Vinho Verde from Quinta da Aveleda

The basis for the elegant Fonte Vinho Verde from Portugal are grapes from the Arinto, Fernão Pires, Loureiro and Trajadura grape varieties. After harvesting, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.

Ideally, drink this white wine from Portugal very well chilled at 5 - 7°C as an accompaniment to a wide variety of dishes, but it is also a pleasure when drunk solo.
