Quality standards at Reh Kendermann
The commitment to quality starts with the employees and partners. Speed is also crucial in the vineyard. It takes a maximum of three hours for the freshly harvested grapes to be pressed, thanks to modern grape transport. Thanks to short distances, the fermentation of red wines starts in a controlled way.
The wine is monitored daily during production by winemakers and cellar masters as well as the in-house laboratory, and careful temperature control is equally crucial.
Winemaking at Reh Kendermann
The winemakers are always very close to production, from the vine in the vineyard to the finished product.
At Reh Kendermann you will meet the experienced winemakers Philipp Closheim and Steffan Haub. Together with the growers, they check the grape quality and decide on the best harvest date. The fermentation process and maturation are also strictly monitored, together with cellar master Harald Kroll.
