This balanced red wine from France is vinified from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc and Merlot. In Bordeaux, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on limestone and gravel soils. The wine berries for this red wine from France are harvested particularly quickly and at the coolest possible time of day, once optimal ripeness has been ensured, in order to preserve their aromas. After hand-picking, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
