More information about Rosé Languedoc AOP - Chapelle-Saint Antoine

The Rosé Languedoc from the wine-growing region Languedoc-Roussillon presents itself in the glass with a bright ruby red color. This wine reveals wonderfully expressive notes of strawberries and blackberries. Hints of blueberry add to the profile.

On the palate, the Rosé Languedoc from Chapelle-Saint Antoine opens beautifully dry, gripping, and aromatic. There is dry and really dry. This rosé wine belongs to the latter category, as it was vinified with only 2.4 g of residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this balanced rosé wine is wonderfully light. Its vibrant fruit acidity makes the Rosé Languedoc impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this young wine from the Languedoc-Roussillon region ultimately delights with a lovely length. Hints of strawberry and blackberry reappear, accompanied by mineral notes from the limestone-dominated soils in the aftertaste.

Vinification of the Rosé Languedoc by Chapelle-Saint Antoine

The basis for the balanced Rosé Languedoc from France are grapes from the varietals Grenache and Syrah. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Languedoc-Roussillon. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into limestone soils. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here, they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. This is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees, before the wine is finally bottled.
