Vinification of the Delas Frères Seigneur de Maugiron Côte-Rotie

The basis for the balanced Seigneur de Maugiron Côte-Rotie from Rhône Valley are grapes from the grape variety Syrah. In Rhône Valley, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone. Seigneur de Maugiron Côte-Rotie is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this Frenchman breathes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. After the grape harvest, the grapes arrive at the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by a maturation of 15 months in French oak barriques.
