Vinification of the Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Wine of Origin by Silver Oak Cellars

The basis for the powerful Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Wine of Origin from California is grapes from the Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot varieties. After being hand-picked, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation in small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures follows. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months in American oak barrels.
