The ULISSE line consists of grape varietal wines, which impressively prove what fantastic aromas and tastes arise when native grape varieties grow on the soil that is ideal for them.
This rosé wine is 100% Montepulciano d´Abruzzo. The origin of this grape variety is still unclear, but it has always been cultivated in Abruzzo and in central and southern Italy. Thanks to the passion of some winemakers, the Montepulciano d 'Abruzzo grapes are today among the best red grapes.
The selective hand-picking takes place in 10 kilogram containers, cooled by dry ice, the grapes reach the winery undamaged. There they are selected again to ensure an absolutely healthy reading.The
grapes are cooled to -5°C by nitrogen within 3 minutes. This breaks down the cell structure and promotes extraction, which explains the intense, fascinating fresh-fruity aroma of this wine. The fermentation takes place temperature-controlled in stainless steel tanks with subsequent ageing in the same for a period of 3 months.
