First-class grapes of traditional varieties, with memorable animal names, and climatically cool Washington enter into an intimate blend here. ViNO CasaSmith and Charles

Charles brought classic red Italian varietals to his home with the CasaSmith line. Barbera from Piedmont, Sangiovese from Tuscany and Primitivo from Puglia, aged and vinified in Washington.
Old world varietal wines get their whole new masculine expression from Charles Smith. "Cervo", "Cinghiale" and "Porcospino" have a serious, powerful and dark character worth discovering. Animal names and motifs are derived from the single vineyard sites of each vine. 100% Washington. These vines are to name a few for example:

Patron Charles Smith

As the manager of a rock band, Charles Smith toured Europe in the 1990s and discovered his fascination with wine. Back in Seattle, Washington State, in the far northwest of the USA, he took over a small wine shop and made first contacts with wine producers in the emerging wine region between the Columbia Valley and the Blue Mountains. In Walla Walla, he met Christophe Baron, a Frenchman, who inspired him to produce his first own wine. Baron sold him grapes - and with the Syrah from his Cailloux Vineyard, the first K-Vintners wine was produced in 1999. Smith's great talent was finding grapes from the best vineyards of different producers and making something truly distinctive from them. The K-Vintners series was born. His company has since grown a bit, he now runs 7 brands all under one umbrella, the name of this association is House of Smith.
