Canyon Road's White Zinfandel, as is not hard to see, is actually a rosé and not a white wine. This California summer wine glows a lovely shade of pink in the glass and seduces the nose with its fruity bouquet that reveals aromas of strawberries, cherries and watermelon. Hints of fresh plums, some rosehip and floral nuances perfectly round out the nose of Canyon Road White Zinfandel.

Vinification of the Zinfandel Rosé from Canyon Road
Zinfandel is one of the blessings Italians brought with them to the United States. Known there as Primitivo, the grape variety has settled in nicely in the western U.S. as Zinfandel. For this Rosé Zinfandel, the grapes are gently pressed and the must is drawn off the skins after a certain time. This is how it gets its strong rosé color.
