The Zelen Classic Vipavska Dolina ZGP from the Primorska wine-growing region presents itself in the glass in a bright golden yellow. The nose of this white wine from Primorska captivates with nuances of lemon and ripe apple. Following the aromas further, mineral notes and mint/melissa appear.
On the palate, Guerila Wines’ Zelen Classic Vipavska Dolina ZGP opens wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven, and well balanced. There is dry and really dry. This white wine belongs to the second group, as it was vinified with only 1.2 g of residual sugar. This dense white wine presents itself on the palate as harmonious and multi-layered. The acidity of the Zelen Classic Vipavska Dolina ZGP is delightfully mild, making this wine wonderfully smooth. On the finish, this youthful white wine from the Primorska wine-growing region delights with excellent length. Once again, hints of ripe apple and lemon emerge.
Vinification of Zelen Classic Vipavska Dolina ZGP by Guerila Wines
This well-balanced white wine from Slovenia is organically vinified from the Zelen grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine matures for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
