More information about Zero alkoholfrei - Krispel

Zero alcohol-free - Krispel shines in the glass with a bright straw-yellow color and fine, silvery highlights. The color appears clear, inviting and youthful. As soon as the glass is swirled, a delicate carpet of aromas rises. It is reminiscent of crisp green apple, juicy lime and ripe lemon.

Typical of Yellow Muscat, the nose is wonderfully aromatic. Delicate elderflower rises into the air, accompanied by fine rose petals and a hint of freshly picked mint. This fresh spiciness supports the fruit and lends the wine a charming aromatic arc. A delicate, cool touch of wet stones evokes the limestone and volcanic soils of the Styrian hills.

The nose unfolds a fragrant mix of:

  • green apple and yellow apple peel
  • citrus fruit, lime zest and grapefruit
  • elderflowers and fragrant rose blossoms
  • fresh mint and delicate herbal spice
  • cool minerality from limestone and volcanic rock

On the palate, Zero alcohol-free - Krispel is spontaneous, direct and refreshing. The delicate fruity sweetness carries the aromatic profile and plays elegantly with the lively acidity. The very first sip is juicy, clear and charming. The texture is crisp, taut and precise, without any heaviness.

The subtle residual sweetness settles like a delicate veil over citrus, apple and blossoms. The acidity brings momentum and ensures gripping freshness. This creates a lively, fruit-driven style with youthful expression. The body remains light to medium, clearly defined and modern in interpretation.

The finish is medium in length. Elderflower, lime zest and a hint of rose petal linger for a long time. A delicate, almost salty impression from the limestone-rich soil provides a pointed final note. Each sip quickly invites another.

The Styrian origin fully showcases its strengths. The interplay of cool nights and sunny days clearly accentuates the aromas of Yellow Muscat. Limestone and volcanic rock bring freshness, structure and clarity to the flavor profile. This delicate character is particularly clear in its alcohol-free form.

Yellow Muscat defines this wine varietally. This grape variety stands for fragrant fruit, elegant spice and floral notes. Even without alcohol, it delivers a very clear varietal character. The result is a youthful, invigorating white-wine style focused on freshness and aromatic expression.

The modern bottle design underlines the character of the wine. Clear, uncomplicated, fresh. The Stelvin screw cap preserves the aromas securely and makes it practical to enjoy both in everyday situations and on special occasions.

  1. Fragrant, aromatic nose with elderflower and rose blossoms
  2. Crisp texture, lively citrus freshness, delicate sweetness

Production of Krispel Zero alcohol-free

Zero alcohol-free - Krispel comes from southeastern Styria in Austria. The vines grow on soils of limestone and volcanic rock. This terroir brings freshness, tension and a fine mineral character to the wine. Cool air flows through the gentle hills at night. This allows the grapes to ripen slowly while retaining their delicate aromas.

Hand-harvesting forms the foundation. Only carefully selected grapes enter the cellar. From the vineyard onward, the focus is on aromatic clarity and thick grape skins. Yellow Muscat shows its full potential here, delivering fragrant, clear aromas and taut acidity.

After harvesting, the grapes undergo very gentle pressing. The juice flows carefully from the berries, preserving delicate aromatic compounds and elegant fruit components. The must then undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless-steel tanks. This method emphasizes freshness and purity. Wood is avoided so that the varietal character remains fully in the foreground.

After fermentation, a classic wine is initially created. Only afterward does the dealcoholization process begin. The winery uses gentle, modern methods for this purpose, preserving the grape variety’s aroma.

Part of the wine undergoes vacuum evaporation. Under reduced pressure, the alcohol evaporates at a low temperature, protecting the finest aromas. Alternatively, reverse osmosis can be used for this step. A special membrane separates the alcohol and water from the wine’s aromatic core.

After dealcoholization, the winemakers reunite the aromatic components with the base wine. This gives the alcohol-free wine structure, fragrance and length. Every step is aimed at clarity, balance and easy drinkability. Nothing feels heavy or artificial.

A brief period of aging on the lees rounds out the style. The fine lees lend the wine delicate creaminess and additional structure. This harmoniously softens its crisp character. The acidity is precise but never harsh. The sweetness blends softly with the fruit and shapes the wine’s pleasantly sweet impression.

Aging in stainless steel consistently preserves the fresh style. No toasted notes, no wood, no distractions. The focus is entirely on citrus, apple, elderflower and rose petal. The result is an alcohol-free wine with a clear signature from Krispel Winery.

Serving recommendations for Krispel Zero alcohol-free

As an aperitif, this wine reveals its radiant side. At 6 to 8 degrees, it is wonderfully cool, invigorating and fragrant. A high-quality white-wine glass brings the floral nose perfectly to the forefront. The slightly tapered shape directs the aromas precisely toward the nose and concentrates the freshness on the palate.

The wine pairs especially well with dishes that display lightness and delicacy. Its gentle sweetness and crisp acidity open up many appealing combinations:

  • light appetizers with vegetables or fish
  • delicate fish dishes, such as steamed char or trout
  • fine vegetarian cuisine with zucchini, fennel or young leeks
  • poultry with herbs, such as chicken with tarragon or lemon thyme
  • pasta with lemon cream, fresh herbs or light-colored vegetables
  • fresh salads with citrus dressing and herbs
  • mild cheese variations made from goat cheese or young soft cheese

For dessert, Zero alcohol-free - Krispel complements light, not overly sweet options. Fruit tarts with lemon, lime or apple harmonize very well. A citrus sorbet also picks up the wine’s aromatic profile beautifully.

In everyday settings, the wine is a stylish companion for many moments: an evening on the terrace, weekend brunch or dinner with guests. It also remains an elegant choice for festive occasions featuring alcohol-free enjoyment. It offers varietal character, structure and style without alcohol.

It can be stored for approximately three years from the vintage. During the first few years, the wine displays its full youthful freshness. The floral, apple and citrus notes are particularly lively then. Cool, dark storage preserves this clarity perfectly.

Serving temperature plays an important role in achieving precision. If served too warm, the wine appears less taut. At 6 to 8 degrees, its full fragrant character unfolds. So chill the bottle well, open it shortly before serving and pour it into an elegant white-wine glass.

In this way, Zero alcohol-free - Krispel demonstrates everything a modern alcohol-free white wine from Austria can offer: clarity, freshness, abundant aromas and stylish drinking enjoyment – for any occasion.
