The basis for the powerful Authentic Brutas Corbières from Languedoc-Roussillon is grapes from the Carignan, Grenache and Syrah varieties. After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house immediately. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
