Vinification of Herdade Do Portocarro Autocarro N.27
This well-balanced red wine from Portugal is blended from the grape varieties Aragonez, Cabernet Sauvignon and Touriga Nacional. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Alentejo. Here the vines drive their roots deep into clay soils. After hand-picking, the grapes quickly make their way to the winery. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and large wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, Autocarro N.27 can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for 24 months.
