Vinification of the Baron de Ley Reserva Rioja

This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Tempranillo. For this exceptionally balanced varietal wine from Baron de Ley, only immaculate grapes were used. After the hand harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
