More information about Bordeaux AOC - Château Maillard
Bordeaux from the pen of Château Maillard of Bordeaux shows a dense purple color in the wine glass. This French cuvée shows wonderfully expressive notes of black cherries, plums, morello cherries and plums in the glass. These are joined by hints of other fruits.
The Château Maillard Bordeaux presents itself to the wine lover wonderfully dry. This red wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the tongue, this powerful red wine is characterized by an incredibly dense texture. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Bordeaux reveals itself to be exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Bordeaux finally inspires with beautiful length. Once again, hints of black cherry and plum show.
Vinification of the Bordeaux from Château Maillard
The basis for the powerful Bordeaux from Bordeaux are grapes from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. After the hand harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn into bottles.
