More information about Bourgogne Pinot Noir AOC - Virgile Lignier-Michelot
The Bourgogne Pinot Noir from Virgile Lignier-Michelot in Burgundy presents a bright, light red color in the glass. When the glass is swirled, this red wine reveals a first-class balance, as it does not appear watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the sides of the glass. Poured into a red wine glass, this Old World red shows wonderfully expressive aromas of plum and blackberry, rounded off by blueberry and pepper contributed by the barrel aging.
This wine delights with its elegantly dry taste profile. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and, despite all its dryness, this French wine enchants with the finest balance. On the finish, this youthful wine from the Burgundy wine-growing region finally impresses with remarkable length. Once again, hints of plum and blackberry appear.
