Taste does not necessarily require residual sugar. On the finish, this youthful rosé wine from the Provence region delights with its beautiful length. Once again, there are hints of grapefruit and raspberry. Mineral notes from the sandstone and slate-dominated soils are added to the finish.
Vinification of the By.Ott Rosé 1.5 l Magnum from Domaines Ott
Cinsault, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah grapes form the basis for the first-class and wonderfully balanced By.Ott Rosé 1.5 l Magnum cuvée from Domaines Ott. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Provence. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of slate and sandstone. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
