More information about Cathedral Cellar Shiraz Western Cape - KWV

KWV's powerful Cathedral Cellar Shiraz Western Cape enters the glass with a dense purple color. The nose of this KWV red wine presents all sorts of plums, morello cherries, black cherries and plums. As if that wasn't already impressive, black tea, vanilla and cinnamon join in due to the aging in small wooden barrels.

This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with 3.1 grams of residual sugar. As you would naturally expect from a wine in the upper price range, this South African naturally enraptures with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Taste does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully melting. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Cathedral Cellar Shiraz Western Cape presents itself wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this good aging red wine from the wine-growing region of the Western Cape, more precisely from the Western Cape, finally thrilled with considerable reverberation.
