More information about Chardonnay Napa Valley - Robert Mondavi
The barrel-aged Chardonnay Napa Valley from the wine-growing region of California presents itself in the glass with a dense golden yellow. When swirled in the glass, this white wine reveals great density and richness, which shows in pronounced church windows on the glass wall. Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from the USA displays wonderfully expressive aromas of orange blossom, grapefruit, pink grapefruit and orange, rounded off by oak, gingerbread spice and cocoa bean contributed by barrel ageing.
On the palate, the Chardonnay Napa Valley from Robert Mondavi starts off wonderfully dry, firm and aromatic. On the tongue, this powerful white wine is characterized by an incredibly creamy texture. The finish of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of California, more precisely from Napa Valley, ultimately delights with a remarkable length.
Vinification of the Chardonnay Napa Valley from Robert Mondavi
The powerful Chardonnay Napa Valley from the USA is a single-varietal wine, vinified from the Chardonnay grape. At optimal ripeness, the grapes for the Chardonnay Napa Valley are harvested exclusively by hand, without the use of rough and less selective mechanical harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes are brought immediately to the press house. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Chardonnay Napa Valley can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for 8 months.
