Vinification of the Chardonnay from Vinedos Santa Lucia
This wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Chardonnay. Only the best grapes were used for this wonderfully balanced varietal wine from Vinedos Santa Lucia. The grapes for this white wine from Chile are harvested particularly quickly and at the coolest possible time of day, once optimal ripeness has been ensured, in order to preserve their aromas. After harvesting, the grapes are swiftly brought to the winery, where they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
