More information about Château De Coteau Margaux AOC - Bordeaux Premium-Selektion

The Château De Coteau Margaux from the Bordeaux wine-growing region presents itself in the glass with a dense purple-red color. After a little time in the glass, this Old World red wine offers wonderfully expressive aromas of blackberry, rounded off by further fruity nuances.

The Bordeaux Premium Selection Château De Coteau Margaux tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with only 0.6 grams of residual sugar. This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and thus, despite all its dryness, this French wine delights with the finest balance. Aroma does not necessarily require a lot of sugar. Powerful and multi-layered, this fleshy red wine presents itself on the palate. Thanks to its lively acidity, Château De Coteau Margaux appears exceptionally fresh and vibrant on the palate. The finish of this well-ageing red wine from the Bordeaux wine-growing region, more precisely from Margaux, ultimately enchants with a beautiful aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets from the gravel-dominated soils.

Vinification of the Bordeaux Premium Selection Château De Coteau Margaux

This powerful red wine from France is made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. In Bordeaux, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on gravel soils. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by maturation for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.
