Chenin Blanc Family Reserve - Kleine Zalze

The final of this white wine with good aging potential from the wine-growing region Coastal Region, more precisely from Stellenbosch, finally convinces with considerable reverberation.

Vinification of the Kleine Zalze Chenin Blanc Family Reserve

This wine clearly puts the focus on one grape variety, and that is Chenin Blanc. Only the best grape material was used for this wonderfully balanced varietal wine from Kleine Zalze. After the hand harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully milled. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by 12 months of aging in oak barriques.

Food recommendation for the Kleine Zalze Chenin Blanc Family Reserve

This South African wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as a companion to roasted trout with ginger pear, omelet with salmon and fennel or fruity endive salad.
