More information about Convivialite - Chateau Camplazens

Convivialite from the Languedoc-Roussillon wine-growing region presents itself in the glass in a dense purplish red. This French cuvée caresses the glass with wonderfully expressive notes of blueberry, sour cherry, currant and plum. Added to this are hints of garrigue and toasted wood.

Chateau Camplazens Convivialite presents itself to the wine lover as wonderfully dry. This red wine never appears coarse or austere, but rather round and smooth. On the palate, this powerful red wine is characterized by an immensely meaty and silky texture. The finish of this red wine from the Languedoc-Roussillon wine-growing region finally impresses with a lovely aftertaste.

Vinification of Convivialite by Chateau Camplazens

This powerful red wine from France is cuvée’d from the grape varieties Grenache, Marselan and Syrah. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.

Food recommendation for Chateau Camplazens Convivialite

This red wine from France is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15–18°C. It is perfectly suited as an accompaniment to lamb ragout with chickpeas and dried figs, vegetable couscous with beef meatballs, or fried calf’s liver with apples, onions and balsamic sauce.
