Côté Sud Rouge - Domaine Lafage

The Côté Sud Rouge from Domaine Lafage in the French wine-growing region Côtes Catalanes in Languedoc is a fruity, elegant and uncomplicated red wine cuvée vinified from the Syrah and Grenache Noir grape varieties. 

In the glass, this wine appears a rich ruby red with cherry highlights. The bouquet treats the nose with a elegant spiciness and aromas of freshly picked wild berries - especially blackberries come to the fore. The fruity and spicy aromas of the nose also present themselves on the palate and are skillfully complemented by gentle tannins. The medium body of this French red wine harmonizes wonderfully with the tannin structure and the unobtrusive acidity. The finish comes up with a pleasant medium length.
