More information about Crémant de Loire Blanc Brut AOC - Château de Mauny

The Crémant de Loire Brut from the wine-growing region of the Val de Loire reveals itself in the glass in brilliant shimmering platinum yellow, golden yellow. The sparkle of this Crémant shines in the glass vital and long lasting. The color of this white wine also shows reflections in the center. In the glass, this sparkling wine of Château de Mauny offers aromas of pears, mirabelles, vineyard peaches, peaches and apricots, complemented by other fruity nuances. This dry Crémant from Château de Mauny is for people who like it absolutely dry. The Crémant de Loire Brut already comes quite close to this, as it was pressed with just 12.7 grams of residual sugar. The Crémant de Loire Brut can rightly be described as particularly fruit-driven and velvety, as it was vinified with a wonderfully sweet flavor profile. Light-footed and multi-layered, this dense Crémant presents itself on the palate. With its present fruit acidity, Crémant de Loire Brut is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this Crémant from the wine-growing region of the Val de Loire, more precisely from Crémant de Loire AOC, which is well capable of aging, finally impresses with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by slate.

Vinification of the Château de Mauny Crémant de Loire Brut

The basis for the elegant Crémant de Loire Brut from the Val de Loire are grapes from the Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc varieties. In the Val de Loire, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of slate. Due to the moderating influence of the nearby sea, the grapes ripen more slowly and develop more aromatic complexity. The grapes for this Crémant from France, when perfectly ripe, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the hand harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and gently broken up. Now follows the fermentation of the base wines. After the cuvée is assembled, further aging follows on the basis of classic bottle fermentation. Subsequently, the Château de Mauny Crémant de Loire Brut matures for 12 months on the full yeast.

Food recommendation for Château de Mauny Crémant de Loire Brut
