Porta 6 Tasting Package – hop on, pour in and discover Lisbon

Next stop: Portuguese wine enjoyment! With the “Hop On & Pour In – Porta 6 Tasting Package” you embark on a varied journey of indulgence through Lisbon’s wine world. Six selected bottles bring fruity red wine, refreshing rosé, lively white wine and a characterful Reserva straight to your home – with no plane ticket, city map or crowds on the tram required.

The Porta 6 Tasting Package is ideal for getting to know these popular wines from Portugal, tasting them together or giving them as a gift to people who enjoy discovering new things. In short: hop on, pull the cork and simply enjoy the next stop in your wine glass.

Porta 6 and the story behind the colorful labels

Porta 6 stands for uncomplicated wines from the Lisboa region, Portuguese zest for life and labels that lift your spirits even before the first sip. Winemaker António Lopes chose Lisbon’s traditional trams and lively old-town alleys as the motif for this wine line. After all, a ride through the narrow and steep streets of the Portuguese capital is almost as much a part of Lisbon as a good glass of wine.

The colorful watercolors were created by the German artist Hauke Vagt, who lives in Lisbon. With plenty of charm and a hint of humor, his illustrations capture typical city scenes. This way, every bottle of Porta 6 becomes not only a delightful travel companion but also a real eye-catcher on the table.

Portuguese wine diversity in the Porta 6 Tasting Package

The tasting package contains a total of six bottles and shows how diverse Portuguese wine can be: two Porta 6 Vino Tinto, two Porta 6 Rosé, one Porta 6 Branco and one Porta 6 Vino Tinto Reserva . This means you are well prepared for bright summer days, convivial evenings and more extensive dinners.

Porta 6 Branco presents itself fresh and lively with fruity and citrus impressions. The rosé brings juicy berry fruit and a pleasant freshness into the glass. In the classic Vino Tinto, dark fruits such as blackberry, plum and blackcurrant meet floral and spicy nuances.

Porta 6 Reserva takes it up a notch: powerful, structured and with notes of dark cherry, spices, vanilla and a delicate hint of chocolate. A little Lisbon tour, then – just without the jolting curves.

Serving recommendations for the Porta 6 wine package

It is best to serve Porta 6 Branco and the rosé well chilled at around 8 to 10 °C. Both are excellent as an aperitif and pair well with fresh salads, fish, seafood, light poultry or light pasta dishes. Especially on the balcony or terrace, they reliably bring a Portuguese holiday feeling – even if the view is more of your own garden than the Tagus.

Porta 6 Vino Tinto and the Reserva show their character best at around 15 to 18 °C. They accompany grilled meat, burgers, roasts, robust pasta dishes, lamb and mature cheese.

The Porta 6 Tasting Package is therefore a versatile choice for a Portuguese evening, a joint wine tasting or as a gift for wine lovers. Only one particular order is recommended: first white, then rosé, then red – after all, the tram doesn’t run backwards through Lisbon either.
