Gamla Cabernet Sauvignon - Golan Heights Winery

The Gamla Cabernet Sauvignon from Golan Heights Winery is a varietal, full-bodied and elegant red wine from the Golan / Galilee wine region. 

This wine displays a bright ruby red color with cherry red highlights in the glass. The fruity aromas of ripe blackcurrants, plums and juicy cherries as well as notes of fresh garden herbs and a hint of cocoa give this red wine a particularly exclusive bouquet. On the palate, this single varietal red wine presents a full body that harmonizes wonderfully with the aromas of the nose. The velvety texture gives this wine the final touch and accompanies into the pleasantly long finish. 

Vinification of the Golan Heights Winery Gamla Cabernet Sauvignon

The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for this red wine come from vineyards in the upper Galilee as well as from vineyards on the cool Golan Heights. 

Once the grapes arrive at the Golan Heights Winery winery, the mash is first fermented in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation is complete, this wine rounds out harmoniously for 12 months in French oak barrels.
