The Alto Moncayo Veraton Garnacha from the DO Campo de Borja appears in an intense garnet red. The nose is pampered by intense notes of shade morals, ripe red fruits and a hint of smoked ham. Other red and black fruits and earthy-mineral notes delight the nose.
On the palate of Alto Moncayo Veraton, the aroma of ripe strawberries, cherries and some plum dominates impressively. The wonderful density and pleasant acidity make this top red wine from northeast Spain a real treat. The finale is carried by velvety tannins. The finish once again brings out red fruits.
Vinification of the Veraton of Alto Moncayo
Australian Chris Ringland and American wine merchant Dan Phillips have been looking for suitable Garnacha vines for your dream wine for a long time. In the region of Campo de Borja in northeastern Spain, the two finally found their way. Here you created a brilliant wine from Garnacha vines up to 100 years old. Veraton matures in French and American oak barriques and gets a whole 16 months
