Vinification of the Grand Cru Blanc De Blancs Extra Brut 1.5 l Magnum from Vesselle Georges
The well-balanced Grand Cru Blanc De Blancs Extra Brut 1.5 l Magnum from France is a cuvée vinified from the grape varieties Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Champagne. Here, the vines drive their roots deep into soils of clay and limestone. It is obvious that the Grand Cru Blanc De Blancs Extra Brut 1.5 l Magnum is also shaped by the climate and viticultural style of Champagne. This French wine can, in the best sense of the word, be described as an Old World wine, presenting itself as exceptionally distinguished and complex. The ripening of the harvested grapes for this wine from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir is influenced to a very high degree by the climate of the growing region. In Champagne, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and even grapes and a rather moderate must weight. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There they are selected and gently pressed. Fermentation of the base wines then follows. After the assemblage of the cuvée, further maturation takes place on the basis of the Méthode Champenoise. The Vesselle Georges Grand Cru Blanc De Blancs Extra Brut 1.5 l Magnum then matures in the bottle for several months and is finally disgorged.
