Here, the vines drive their roots deep into soils of clay and limestone. The Helden Blaufränkisch is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this Austrian exudes an exceptional European charm that clearly underlines the success of wines from the Old World. After hand-picking, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large wooden casks at controlled temperatures.
