With the Château du Tertre Les Hauts du Tertre Margaux, a first-class red wine flows into the crystal-clear glass. It reveals a wonderfully bright, ruby-red color. After the first swirl, this red wine shows an excellent balance, as it does not appear watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the sides of the glass. The bouquet of this red wine from Bordeaux enchants with notes of redcurrant jelly. Following the aroma further, blackcurrant and spicy notes appear.

Château du Tertre Les Hauts du Tertre Margaux presents itself to the connoisseur as delightfully dry. Once again, hints of redcurrant jelly are evident.

Vinification of Les Hauts du Tertre Margaux by Château du Tertre

This balanced red wine from France is made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Naturally, Les Hauts du Tertre Margaux is also shaped by the climate and viticultural style of Margaux. This French wine can quite literally be described as an Old World wine that presents itself in an exceptionally impressive manner. After being hand-picked, the grapes are immediately brought to the winery. There they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
