More information about Moscato - Yellow Tail
The Moscato from the South Australia wine-growing region presents itself in the glass with a brilliantly shimmering platinum yellow. The first nose of the Moscato flatters with starfruit, vineyard peach and peaches. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by more fruity-balsamic nuances.
The Yellow Tail Moscato shows us an incredibly fruit-driven taste on the palate, which is due not least to its off-dry profile. On the palate, the texture of this light-footed white wine is wonderfully crisp. Thanks to its pronounced fruit acidity, the Moscato appears delightfully fresh and lively on the palate. On the finish, this wine from the South Australia wine-growing region finally delights with good length. Once again, hints of vineyard peach and papaya appear.
Vinification of the Moscato from Yellow Tail
The basis for the elegant Moscato from South Australia is grapes of the Moscatel variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house immediately. There they are sorted and gently broken up. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
