More information about Rose - Winery Bediani
This rose from the wine-growing region of Kakheti is a brilliant shimmering purple red in the glass. Poured into a white wine glass, this rosé wine from Georgia presents wonderfully expressive aromas of lilac, rounded off with redcurrant.
The rose can rightly be described as particularly fruity and velvety, as it has been vinified with a pleasantly sweet taste profile. This light rosé wine is light-footed and multi-layered on the palate. Thanks to its lively fruit acidity, the rose is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this rosé wine from the Kakheti wine-growing region is delightful with a good aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the soils dominated by volcanic rock and black earth.
Vinification of the rose from Winery Bediani
The elegant Rose from Georgia is a single-varietal wine made from the Saperavi grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Kakheti. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of volcanic rock and black earth. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the rose can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
Dining recommendation for the Winery Bediani Rose
This rosé wine from Georgia is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompaniment to asparagus salad with quinoa, omelette with salmon and fennel or wok vegetables with fish.
